The new e-series of PDV Professional Desktop Viewers uses the latest multi-voltage electronic ballasts with T8 Graphiclite lamps. Their design has been enhanced to provide increased efficiency at a lower cost. All models come pre-assembled with a unique hinged design that allows quick and easy set up for viewing and equally fast fold-up for storage and/or transport. Accessory side walls, available for each model, are recommended for tighter compliance to the D50 industry viewing standard. These new models also provide significantly greater viewing areas compared with the previous models.

These compact, affordable colour viewers offer several viewing options. Reflection Only units allow vertical comparison viewing of reflection copy; Transmission and Reflection units (TR) can be used for the comparison of transparencies and prints (available with PDV-2e & PDV-3e only).

The addition of sidewalls reduces the influence from high ambient lighting and provides tighter control of the viewing environment. Available for all models.

Dimming Models
Ideal for soft proofing & colour management

Visual colour comparison between a colour monitor and a transparency, print, or proof is
significantly enhanced by bringing the light intensity of the viewing system closer to the
light output of the monitor. (Designated with a "D" after the model number.) Optional lower luminaire ("x" model) enhances light uniformity.
